Chalmers, Elinor Margaret ‏(nee Robinson)‏
Peacefully surrounded by the love of her family at Collingwood General & Marine Hospital on
Monday, October 11, 2021 in her 87th year.
Elinor Chalmers, of Stayner, beloved wife of the late Bernard. Treasured mother of
Brad Chalmers ‏(Janice)‏; Marjorie Gilpin ‏(Brian)‏; Ruth Chalmers ‏(Robin Crockford)‏ and Chris Chalmers. Cherished grandma of nine and loving great-grandma of two. Dear sister of John, Grace, Ruth, Norman and predeceased by Mary, Pearl and Nita. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Elinor had a long distinguished career as a Registered Nurse, having graduated from the Collingwood hospital nursing program in 1956. She loved the elderly and enjoyed her work in many local nursing homes.
As per Elinor’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at Stayner Union Cemetery on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 1 o’clock. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity important to you would be appreciated by the family.
